Thank you for helping us build our Small Group program! If you are insterested in LEADING or HOSTING a Small Group in your home, please let us know by completing the form below. 

As a church, it is our heart that every member grows in their relationship with Jesus, is known, and knows others.  The mission of our church is to end loneliness in our neighborhood and a Small Group provides a space for friendships to flourish and disciples of Christ to grow.

As a Small Group Leader, you're partnering with the leadership of FPC to lead and minister to a small group for a season of time. Small Groups will begin forming in September.

As a Leader, here's what we're asking you to be a part of:

-Meet regularly with your Small Group, at least 2 times per month throughout the school year (September-May.)

-Keep the group on track during discussions and focused on Christ. We can provide choices of several book and/or discussion questions relating to the current sermon series.

- Be the main communicator for the group.

As a Host, here's your role:

- Open your home to regular gatherings of your small group

- Meals are optional!  But drinks or snacks are fun.

- Kids may or may not be at your house - that can be up to you!

Participants in Small Groups are asked to commit to their group through for a full "school year".  All Small Groups are encouraged to take a break for the summer, and return to meeting in the fall. Participants have the freedom to stay in the same group or start a new Small Group in the fall.

Leaders & Hosts - please fill out your information below and let us know when, where and how many people you can accomodated in your Small Group - and if your current group can accept more. We will connect you with group members as they sign up!

Committed to honor Christ and not jeopardize His testimony or Hope Chapel's. You will commit to be and keep above reproach (1 Tim. 3:2).

Prove to be an example for the flock (1 Peter 5:3), with the Bible as your guide to conduct and character (2 Tim. 3:16-17).

A. Free of addictions (alcohol, drugs, pornography, Eph. 5:18).

B. If single, won't stumble others by cohabiting, sleeping over or moving in with your boyfriend/ girlfriend or fiancé (Romans 14:21)

C. Have no current marital struggle (infidelity, separation, divorce in process...)

Committed to your relationship to FPC Tacoma. Being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united spirit, intent on one purpose. Being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace (Ephesians 4:3). 

Leaders help create a safe community that people can grow together. Encourage group conversations to be confidential. 

Be in agreement with the vision and mission of FPC Tacoma (Ps. 133:1,3)

Speak well of current leadership; Refuse to give audience to a spirit of complaining or gossiping, but will instead be courageous in solving every problem in a way that honors God, builds character, and protects the unity of the Spirit in our church. (1 Peter 4:8, 9, Matthew 18:15-17, Romans 16:17)

Not use the relationship and role as a leader for one's personal gain in business and not to take advantage of the love and closeness established at FPC Tacoma with the intent to sell a product or make business contacts.
