March 29th 12pm |
WHAT IS FOOD WITH FRIENDS?
Food With Friends is an opportunity both members and new comers to FPC to get to know one another over several meals in each other's homes. The goal is to create space for friendships to form & build a strong community at FPC!
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
You will share four meals with approximately seven other adults (sometimes extra kids), hosting one of the meals in your home. On Sunday, March 29th at noon in South Chapel, we will all gather to meet our groups for the first time. The goal will be to share contact information and and set dates for your meals between April-May.
WHAT IF MY HOME IS TOO SMALL?
Sharing a meal in your home can be an incredible way to build intimate community and form friendships - regardless of its size! But we don't want that to be a show-stopper for you. You are more than welcome to use the church to host your dinner, or gather at a restaurant if all group members are ok with that plan. If you are short on dishes, chairs, or have other needs, you can ask the group to bring what you need, or contact the church to borrow supplies. You can also make your meal a potluck and ask everyone to bring a dish. Be creative, but also be brave! That's how the best friendships are formed.
