Dinners For Eight - Fall 2023

WHAT IS DINNERS FOR EIGHT?
Dinners for Eight is an opportunity for the people of First Presbyterian Church – both members and visitors – to build relationships and get to know one another over a meal. We hope that Dinners for Eight will help build a strong community at FPC!

HOW DOES IT WORK?
To sign up for Dinners for Eight is to commit to four meals with seven other people, some or all of whom you may not know. On Sunday, October 8th at noon in the South Chapel, we will gather for lunch to meet your group for the first time. At that time, you can set up dates & times to share a meal together four times between October-January, rotating hosts & locations.

WHERE DO WE EAT?
The group can choose whether they will eat in their homes, have a potluck at the church, or gather at a restaurant. We do not want members of the groups to feel as though they must invite everyone into their home, although eating with someone in his/her home can be a fun way to build intimate community. If the group chooses to eat in their homes, they can ask the group members to bring various elements of the meal when they arrive.
